Casey Offers Amendment to H.R. 2112

Apparently Senator Bob Casey (D, PA) has filed an amendment to H.R. 2112, the FY 2012 Agriculture Appropriations bill, to boost funding for the Office of the Commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration by $10 million. Senators Klobuchar and Blumenthal are co-sponsors of this amendment. The additional funding would be directed to efforts to address drug shortages.
