The Alliance Thanks Congress for Passing Fiscal Year 2026 Appropriations for the FDA

Washington, D.C. – We are grateful to Congress for completing work on the FY 2026 Agriculture and FDA Appropriations bill ensuring the FDA has stable and predictable funding so it can continue its critical mission for the remainder of this fiscal year.

The Alliance for a Stronger FDA also appreciates Senator Hoeven’s leadership in advancing thoughtful oversight and accountability provisions in the bill. This important bill language reinforces the FDA’s commitment to radical transparency and will strengthen the agency’s ability to serve patients, innovators, and public-health stakeholders with clarity and confidence.

We look forward to continuing to work with Congress and the Administration to ensure the FDA has the resources and tools necessary to protect the public and support a strong, competitive U.S. life-sciences ecosystem.
